Horizon crematoria are designed to be more than places of farewell, they are spaces that bring communities’ together, encouraging openness and understanding around death and remembrance. As such, we regularly host open days and guided tours to help build understanding and trust in the cremation process.
We also positively contribute to the local economy through investment, employment, and supply chain opportunities.
Every Horizon crematorium raises and match-funds donations for local charities, and so far, we have donated over £150,000 to local hospices and other important local community causes and charities over the last five years.

THE ENVIRONMENT
Sustainability is central to Horizon’s vision, and we are well on track to become the UK’s first net zero crematoria operator. We are committed to achieving net-zero carbon at all our facilities, through energy efficiency, renewable energy generation and tree planting.
We have planted more than 20,000 trees across our sites over the last five years alone!
The site is also in a sustainable location, being only a short walk from Hooton train station and a bus stop, providing sustainable travel options for families, visitors and staff.
